Bring images of different seasons up on an interactive whiteboard, one at a time. Discuss each picture. Have students decide what time of the year the picture shows. It is usually a time of colder temperatures, snowy weather, and shorter days and longer nights. These are some of the things that make winter different than the other seasons.
